Ya, I went in looking for motorstorm 2 and couldn’t find it but found resistance 2. I went to pay for it and all over the wall were posters for the pre-order.

I’m sure some stores are erroneously stocking shelves with copies of Resistance 2. That kind of thing happens all the time and oddly enough Toys R Us seems to be a usual suspect. Last year they put Bioshock out a week early nation-wide.

I got the beta but have not been able to connect to any games so I gave up. Oct. 28th went into toys r us looking motorstorm 2 and came across resistance 2 on the shelf so of course I bought it. This game has got me hooked, I was playing far cry 2, dead space and LBP but now I can’t put down resistance. Looks great plays even better.

In a sea of FPS a 9.5 is very respectable. I haven’t even had a chance to check out the Skirmish portion yet… I’ll have to try that out tonight. The game offers loads of variety and reply between the Story, Co-Op, and Competitive.

looken forward to the full version of the game. Co-op ROCKS! The only thing that sucks is the co-op is always full. They need more rooms, space, servers what ever… Its probably cuz everyone and there grandma is playn.

It’s great how the reviewer made it sort of obvious that he had to try to find some negative points. Like mentioning screen tearing, pop-ins, and other trivial crap as the primary negative things he noticed. I think his only real personal gripe was with some missing story elements and that’s fine. IGN was wise for getting a guy who clearly has experience with Resistance to review the sequel, instead of just tossing it on the desk of their resident Madden expert.

It will be interesting to see how other sites handle their Resistance 2 reviews. Any extreme low blows from reviewers will almost certainly be for the sake of sensationalism, seeing as how you can already tell from the beta that the game is phenomenal.

Been on the BETA for a while now, and am having a blast!! I haven’t even played the Multiplayer on it, even… it’s all been Co-op for me, and am loving it!
Heck, I woulda paid $60 for just the Co-op, but now it’s got a compelling single player game in there, too? Gravy, baby…
