You can now pay for that too…check this month’s episode of Quore for the holiday video.

They may release it for free in a few weeks, I’ve noticed that Quore content eventually makes it to the Free pile after a while.

I’ll be spending my cash on maintenance for my real car, not add ons to need for speed.

I wonder who their target market is?

I played the Age of Booty public beta on the PC and it was a great casual game. It only takes an hour to master and was pretty fun. (Not as much fun as Fallout 3, but then it’s not that kind of game)

Age of Booty is a RTS game involving pirate ships. I’m not sure if its any good. I am not really a huge fan of RTS games.

I think DLC if done right can be a good thing. For example the add-ons for COD 4, Warhawk, or Resistance were all worth while. They added a reasonable amount of content to a game, a while after the games were released. This business of releasing a game, and then a week later releasing a slue of DLC which might as well been included in the initial release, makes it really seem like they are cheating the consumers.

Seeing all the DLC for Need for Speed, it does not encourage me to buy that game at all…

I can’t imagine who would buy a LBP costume. That deadspace-stuff pricing is pretty extreme too. Are they still testing the waters – seeing what gouging the market will bear? I think they’re all going to be in for a rude shock after Christmas, when the world recession kicks in …
