Yikes! I was a bit blasé about this add on pack but now I’ve seen it has extra levels and yes. A gun. It’s made it a must buy! There are even rumours of extra trophies to be included.
Its out December 23 in America ($6) and Christmas day (December 25) in Europe (price TBC) and Asia (600 yen).

The Paint Switch, so you can attach it to any object and set it to destruct after being splattered with enough paint.

Looks very promising! I may be inclined to try LBP again… But so far Crash Commando is 10x more fun for me.

Guys, I’ll repeat this in other threads to let you know that LBP DLC *IS NO LONGER ACCOUNT LOCKED*. Sorry for shouting. The DLC was both region and account locked, that is, if you paid for or downloaded a free costume, it would only show up in that account. Now the DLC works just like other PSN downloads, this is great…

The levels are pretty nice – if a little short (it’s maybe about 2/3 of a ‘country’ of the original levels) – i think it’s interesting how some have 2 modes too, once you go through it as a ‘tutorial’ you can use a sticker the second time and it becomes a race, with different game logic as well – i wonder how they did that?
The gun should add an extra dimension to user levels too.

I HATED THE END. BECAUSE REX SHOOTS BUNCHA STUFF, PLUS YOU HAD TOXIC AROUND YOU AND A LAZOR BEAMING ON YOU EVERY 20 SECS. AAANNNDD YOU HAD TO DOGE PLASMA BALLS AND THE TURRET BULLETS. ALL FINISH YOU ON IMPACT.
