Kind of surprising since Prince of Persia supposedly didn’t sell what they were expecting. If Far Cry 2 sold well than it showed how uninformative the NPD data that gets released to GameSpot and NeoGAF is. It doesn’t really give an accurate picture of how a big cross-platform game is performing. Far Cry 2 was never in the top ten, and Fallout 3 only made October with the 360 version. Obviously, these games sold enough between PC, 360, and PS3 to be successful. You’d never know it from those NPD threads.
