As Gibb mentioned in the Shoutbox the Killzone 2 demo will be available on the European PSN store on February 5th. So if you have a European PSN account then you are all set. For those that have those pre-order codes from Gamestop in North America, the demo is still available February 5th.
The demo will arrive on the North American PSN on February 26, but why not create a Europe PSN account and get in on all the fun

Does it make sense to release a Demo of a game the day before its released in stores? I mean why not just make it a world wide Demo on the 6th giving everyone 20 days to say omg this is wicked cool and buy the game.

Humm I sure hope the Europians are a little happy since they didn’t have to pay/wait for the demo. They are always complaining about waiting.

Demo at release time is almost certainly better than well before.
Keep the hype going and encourage impulse buys. 20 days sounds bad – by then you might be sick of it/find its flaws. Considering a demo released at that time would probably be a pre-release build, at that.
Demo’s later on also make sense – push a few people to buy it if they hadn’t seen it yet/or weren’t considering it. At least for titles with on-going selling power. A LBP demo might pop up eventually for example, since that should have an almost limitless life, with all the user content.
