SNK is releasing the new version of one of their big fighting franchises to the PS3 this summer.
This game is 100% hand-drawn HD 2D graphics. That is a real rarity these days.
Personally, I’d rather see a new high-quality 2D HD treatment of the Samurai Shodown series, but KoF is a highly respected series on its own.
Will this stand up to SFIV or Tekken 6?

Hmmm I agree.. HD Samurai Showdown would be waaay better imo, but the critical counter system for KOFXII looks cool…

This will be rubish. Just saying after playing SF4 all week long im so convinced that this game really will need to change the game in order to get the sales and the fan base SF4 has. My roommate hates fighting games besides soul calibur, and now i get home from work and he is in my room playing, spouting off comments like, “dude we have to get Seth.”
