The reason you got no Xp, was you probably joined a user created game bby the "find match" option, and was unranked. To be sure to earn XP, you need to use the first option at the top, join game which auto-selects a match for you.

As for point #3 well there's those ion guns out there that can be unlocked and only need 1 hit to kill... and the augers that shoot through walls.

I played RA3 and wasn't slightly interested :)

There was a time I played starcraft, was never good at it but I enjoyed it. Keyboard and mouse should be in place for me to begin to learn any RTS game.

I gave up on this game, as I already that before... It just wasn't my cup of tea. I recently came to the conclusion (again), that FPS just aren't my genre.

I rented KZ2 and Red Alert 3 for a weekend and I played MUCH more RA3 than KZ2... Imagine that :D

I think you were playing meltdown by the sounds of it. It's just newly added since the patch and is a favourite mode brought back in from R1. I don't really like the mode in R2 it just doesn't work as well on its maps, plus you don't shoot the node to capture it you just stand there. Instead of feeling like a new mode it just feels like a strip backed skirmish. For me it just sheds more light on how much more I enjoyed R1 multi to R2.

Love co op though.

It sounds like you were playing the competitive mode; I agree that team components are hard to find when playing that. It typically is everyone for themselves, even with it's "team deathmatch" or whatever.

During the rare times I play competitive I usually go for the auger, it seems to be the best way to deal with snipers. You really have to watch your mini-map, the game will spawn the enemy right behind you if you start to do well.

The co-op mode of play is a lot more fun. Right now I've got about 600,000 experience in that, and 30,000 in competitive.
