Make that 3 awards! Well deserved and I can not wait for this game! All other games will be taking a seat on the bench for this game. So bravo Uncharted 2, well done and lets hope this moves PS3′s!

I haven’t been playing the beta too much…basically want it to be fresh and new when the game comes out. I decided to jump back on the other day to play a round or two and man are some people good on there now. I jumped in one game and was getting head shot with the quickness.
I’d be crouched behind some cover, pop my head out and fire off a few shots and before I could crouch back down I was dead. Grenades were coming out of nowhere…it was silly.
Very well deserved set of awards. I normally play the entire single player before messing with multiplayer but they are saying that some items will affect single player as well so I’m torn.

I expected they would pick something more out-of-the-box and unique.
U1 was great, and I will definitely preorder U2, but the core game design is very standard action/adventure fare.
I guess the current crop of near-finished games is mostly polished sequel stuff (U2, GoW3) or risky, niche audience, and unfinished (Heavy Rain).

I don’t find anything about Uncharted as standard. My experience with Uncharted were completely unique compared to any game before it. Sure some elements are used in other games but nothing like this.
I’d say its core design is standard to action/adventure movies would be a more true statement. A statement I can’t say about any other game.

The core shooting/platforming/plot of Uncharted is very standard.
What set it off, is that it was executed so well. The tech was phenomenal, the action was polished, the art/animation were excellent, and the story and narrative was unusually good.
I love Uncharted, don’t get me wrong, but it fits firmly in the action/adventure mold.
