PSP Go Release Date October 5th |

PSP Go now has an official release date of 10/5 in North America. Pretty much every country will be releasing around this day. The video I posted below shows a really good hands on of various games and you can imagine how it might feel to hold one.

The line-up of the PSP just keeps getting more and more impressive as time goes along. Just to name a few off the top of my head:

Assasins Creed Bloodlines
Cardboad Senki
Class of Heroes
Crimson Gem Saga
Disgaea 2 Dark Hero
Fat Princess
Final Fantasy Agito XIII
Final Fantasy Dissidia
Gran Turismo
Jak and Daxter
Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep
Little Big Planet
Lunar Harmony of Silver Star
Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
Monster Hunter Freedom 3
Motorstorm Artic Edge
Parasite Eve 3rd Birthday
Pixel Junk Monsters Deluxe
Resident Evil PSP
Silent Hill Shattered Memories
Soul Calibur
Tales of Versus
Tekken 6

I know the price point of $250 is a little out there, but I think I’ll be picking one up opening day.

I don’t think I’ll be nabbing a Go anytime soon, I’ve yet to really see what the advantage is for $250. Plus I love my UMDs, I still like to own my products. I’ll cling to them as long as possible.

Has Lunar actually been confirmed for any region other than Japan? If so then that’s going to be a HUGE release for me. Assuming they didn’t change too much of it that is… even the PS remake was different enough from the Sega CD version that I took issue. Maybe some interest in this game can restart the series and not virtually kill it like that last DS game did.

  • I thought the release date was the 1st of October, oh well. I’m really looking forward to Assassin’s Creed on the PSP!

  • I’m really looking forward to all the new titles, especially Motorstorm, Resident Evil and Little Big Planet!
