Known as Tina Yuzuki (her real name)in the past and presently known as Rio now, this well known actress blogged about her audition for an up and coming Yakuza game (which I’m not sure was ever announced). She has landed in the top 16 applicants that tried out for this role.
No other details were given at this time, but this does tell us that there is a Yakuza 4 on its way out. Now only if we could get Yakuza 3 over seas sometime…

So is Yakuza 3 ever coming out in the U.S.? Surely it can sell better than Mad World and The Conduit.
Then again Sega isn’t the smartest company in the world.

Hopefully so. I’m guessing NA sales would hit close to 500k or more on Yakuza3 with an opening month around 175k.
Madworld and Conduit are interesting sales and are defended quite heavily by Nintendo fans hehe. Madworld still is LTD worldwide around 230k with week over week declining sales and Conduit’s 71k in 9 days was only a fraction better.
Then of course you have the “Nintendo games have legs” argument which should be the leading gaming meme of this generation as far as I’m concerned.

maybe people are starting to realize that the Wii isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. Mad World, though, is definitely worth a rental
