some of it's OK. I like Wii's rail shooters, they're OK. Other than that, the only game I keep playing is Wii Sports and, at the time, it came with the system lol. The new Sports Resort comes packaged with the Wii Motion Plus, though I'm undecided on getting that or just the MP, but it also includes the favs bowling and golf, but this time its more accurate and you can also curve the ball on the golf one as well

3D and 1:1 tracking are great, but how does that make a great game?

I still can't see a current-genre game using this and I'm skeptical about how many new genres can really deliver new experiences with this.

I don't think people forgot the EyeToy... The software never really lived up to expectations. Honestly, I don't think the Wii software did either, but the Wii earned it's attention through huge sales.

I'm highly skeptical about the games, but this wand sounds cool. I assume it tracks position through non-visible light, and the color is just for user feedback (muzzle flash sounds cool). Will this only work for rail shooters? How would you turn around, move forward/back/strafe, etc?

We won't know until the wand is out. As far as we're concerned, this is corporate smacktalk.
