So far I have not noticed any connection issues with the game. My son has been playing it a lot, it’s been a good one. It seems to be a peer to peer type game, so it probably depends on what sort of ISP you have, and what time you are connecting; when I am online it’s usually around 11 PM PST, and then it’s just west coast users, so little latency.

its a VERY good game.. the connection issues are ridiculous, and sooo frustrating. But when everything runs smoothly (as rare as that is.. probably 15:1) the game is brilliant. simple enough for casual gamers, but deep enough for core gamers. Except there is no clan support! which i HOPE they address with this patch..

This game has potential. But I couldn’t get into an online game with more than 2 people.
Sony’s online party networking code needs serious attention. Games like Socom suffer from really poor matchmaking capabilities and Fat Princess suffers as well.
The game is fun and has plenty of potential for DLC and new game modes. The online though is infuriating. Hopefully this patch will solve a majority of these problems.

i’ve yet to get it, but, according to IGN, last I checked, reader average for the game was at 9.8
