The English box art for Sony’s upcoming EyePet looks a little different to the traditional box artwork. Gone is the the vertical bar on the left saying Playstation 3 and incomes a horizontal across the top simply displaying the old ‘PS’ logo and ‘Playstation Network’. Is this a change in the box art style for all forthcoming games or is this a new branding for just in-house casual games only? Some answers might crop up at Gamescom this week.

I wouldn’t say its a new box art style. That’s probably just a mock up. If anything, if they do decide to use a horizontal bar as opposed to a vertical bar, they would still have at least PS3 next to the logo
