Yes harddrive, yes replacement. It is impossible to have a ps3 sku without a harddrive, and it makes sense to have it upgradeable when they are pushing for digital downloads.

why are they so excited about buttons and dull finish? the best thing about the original was the touch panel and glossy finish. the best thing about the slim will be the more reliable (and probably quieter) parts. otherwise it doesn’t seem that great over a launch model.

ok, very good to hear bout the removable harddrive… didnt’ seem possible by looking at the new model.. (i knew it had a HD, i just can’t type coherently ).. thanks for the info bout unscrewing the screws to replace!!!

Oh, they removed the ethernet port? Bummer! At least put a 100mps adapter in there.. Not all people want to use wireless, plus it mostly ends up in lost packets.. Darn.
