PSP Go has been unboxed and displayed in its shiny goodness. It looks much smaller then I really anticipated and very very portable.
I have to say its looking mighty sleek!
Part 1 and Part 2 of the unboxing videos below.

Looks too small, but I reserve judgement till I can see one in use in the wild.

Way way way too small for my liking. Almost to the point of uselessness. Have you ever held a tiny cell phone for a long time while pushing buttons on it? Kills large hands.
PSP-3000 for the win.

I have a hard time with a lot of small electronics because I have sausage fingers lol

I agree that it’s too small and it looks cheap in quality. The buttons are look uncomfortable and are too close to the thumb-stick giving everything a claustrophobic feel.
I prefer my existing 3000 model. It allows me to feel like I paid for something I can’t snap in half with 4 fingers.

I completely disagree with it looking cheap. In fact I think it looks like way more R&D as well as manufacturing went into creating this PSP over the older models. I think it looks finely honed and crafted and with an inherent worth.
As far as its being small and clusterd..i agree the buttons look too close together etc. However every single hands on review from every major gaming website said it is wonderful and don’t make a judgement until its in your hands.

To be honest, I’ve been quite passive in my judgment of this model. I have more thoughts, but I’m holding them back until I actually hold the unit.
Every video I’ve seen so far gives me the impression that physically cheaper in quality than the old PsP. I don’t care for the sliding mechanism either.
Sorry Eddie, I respectfully disagree that this redesigned model is better than the old.

One thing I do like about the Go is the connectivity and performance improvements it has over the 3000.

PSP Go Price Will Get Cut Again on 2010 so we can easily afford some exquisite skins for this handheld console.
