More unique tech demos from Sony | Vision Library

Here is another unique tech demo from Sony. It’s called Vision Library, it’s a advanced facial recognition SDK for the PS3. It can identify gender, your expression, orientation, if your mouth is open or closed, it can even track if your eyes are open or not.

Then it will superimpose anime faces, cow heads and duck mouths, right over your face, lol. Those superimposed faces will mimic what your face is doing in real time too.

While this is a very fun tech demo. How do you think this could be used in a game? I think it would be fun to just release it as a free or very cheep download from the PlayStation Store. What do you think?

It could be used in standard, run-of-the-mill eyetoy games. Could be used in singstar videos for various effects (virtual accessories etc) I am sure they could come up with more creative ways of implementing this..
