Yeah, I know this is a PSP game, but here is the interview, conducted by the guys at the Official Blog:
I bring this up because they have mentioned some cross-platform support between this and the PS3 version of Assassin’s Creed II. Here’s what the game’s producer, Frederic Lefrancois, said about what is supported (at least, as far as I can understand his accent ):
There’ll be ways to transfer collectibles from one version to the other and both ways so basically how it works is that you’ll be able to transfer all the Templar coins you collect in the PSP version onto the PS3. Moreover, you’ll be able to collect the weapons of the targets you are going to kill in the PSP version onto ACII. And the other way around, you’ll be able to get the (couldn’t understand) upgrade and transfer them onto the PSP version.
It’s pretty nice seeing developers do this kind of support between the platforms. I’d like to see more games support this kind of feature. To my knowledge, the only other game in the near future to have the feature is Gran Turismo on PSP and GT5.
