Media Go is Ready For Download


Essentially ITunes for the PSP, this will allow movement of all of your media, including games to and from your PSP. This will work for any PSP to date.

Media Go version 1.1a provides the following improvements:

* An automatic problem reporting function has been added. This function sends information about crashes and other major problems to the Media Go engineering team for purposes of future product improvement. Users may choose to opt out of sending this information.
* Stability fixes have been made for media files with problematic or corrupt metadata. In most cases, Media Go can skip problematic files, and will continue to operate without shutting down.
* Stability fixes have been made for potential database and background process problems during application launch.

* Easily transfer music, photos, audiobooks, audio clips, and videos to and from your Sony and Sony Ericsson portable devices
* Subscribe to podcasts and video blogs and automatically download new episodes
* Discover new video and audio podcasts from around the world in Media Go’s podcast directory
* Rip songs from your CDs and transfer them to your Sony and Sony Ericsson portable devices
* Look up album and artist information and artwork from Gracenote® MusicID®
* Organize and search your entire media collection with ease
* Add useful ratings to your media and use them to sort your media
* Purchase new media from online stores, including:
o Sony Ericsson PlayNow™ arena
o Partner stores
o PlayStation® Store
* Automatically synchronize content like playlists, podcasts, and recently added media to your Sony and Sony Ericsson portable devices
* See overviews of your devices so you can monitor total space used and total space available
* Add SensMe™ data to your music files and create playlists based on the music’s mood and beats per minute
* Play your media using several different views: compact, large-screen, or full-screen
* Purchase, backup, and restore PSP™ games

    Anybody know how this software treats a hacked PSP ?

    I’m curious if this will automatically resize video for PSP screen… convert video formats for PSP, etc.

    Does it do video transcoding?

    If not I’ll stick to using the PSP like a flash drive and simply copying the files.
