Ar Tonelico 3 is the 3rd installment of the series and the first to go 3D. The game is set to release in Japan Jan 28, 2010 and is currently 80% complete. Update:The game will utilize the 3D engine from Atelier Rorona.

Are the Ar Tonelico Action-RPGs (Like Eternal Sonata, they’re from the same guys) ?
If so (never heard of the serie before) are they usually good games ?

Can’t say. I’ve never played a AT game myself.
Edit: I updated the post. According to The Magicbox.com, AT3 will utilize the 3D engine from Atelier Rorona.

They are great games
The first two games are on the PS2
