Lately Sony has been working on several different controller patents. No details on this latest one, other than the name “hand held game controller”. It only have 4 face buttons, so it’s use would be pretty limited. Maybe a motion controller? What are your thoughts?

I don’t get the point to it. It’s not like the nunchuk because it doesn’t have an analog stick. And it’s not a Buzz/quiz game controller because it only has 4 buttons (and they need 5, the 4 colored selection buttons and the big buzzer)

Looks like a motion-control flight-stick to me… could this be the long-awaited resurgence of flight simulators?
