I just received this notification, via email, from Netflix:

It wasn’t too long ago that I posted the story on the soon-to-be available service, and it’s looking like they’re getting these streaming discs to us pretty quickly!

For those not in the know, the Streaming Disc will be required until an XMB implementation becomes a reality (which is, apparently, late next year, probably due to contractual obligations with Microsoft). Stay tuned sometime next week when I review the Netflix service on PS3!

Also, the email has the Big Lebowski as an example to add to my Instant Queue, so a big thumbs up there, man
