the same thing could be said of the valve guys. they should stick to making games and not verballying dissing the PS3. i don’t understand what it gains them.

Only teasing guys… well half teasing anyway. Developers fighting always makes me squeamish. It reminds me a bit of the Call of Duty devs fighting between Call of Duty 4 & 5. It’s just ugly and unpleasant. I think Randy should stick to the games myself… I hear Borderlands is great and I can’t wait to pick up my copy! Should be a nice co-op game to play at home.

Its about time somebody calls out Valve. There screwing the ps3 in every way and they know it. They need to stop being so damn lazy and develop for ps3. If they need tips talk to Naughty Dog. LOL

I can’t imagine big business would let one person’s fanboyism or ego get in the way. Thre must be another reason for not investing in the PS3, however foolish that seems.

Jealous of what exactly? Gabe Newell’s hate for the PS3 is unfounded. If PS3 is so hard to develop for. Why are so many other companies able to produce games for both systems. The fact is he is fat and lazy. He doesn’t want to take the time to learn anything new. He just wants to spew out the same old crap games and rake in money. Because people are stupid enough to buy rehashed games.

Next fall they’ll put out Left 4 Dead 3 and that again will be their only release. And what ever happened to Half Life 2 Episodes? Guess their plan to overcharge for a small part of a single story fell through.

His company has done more than just half life opposing force. It seems like he’s pissed because Doug said the PS3 versions aren’t as good because it’s some stepchild.

If your a 3rd party porting games to the ps and you hear a company say that. I would think it would make you feel like shit since your the one that made that PS3 stepchild.

Interesting how this will evolve.

these comments are interesting considering gearbox made an episode for the original half life; opposing force. he seems to be clearly speaking from experience and its nice to see another developer speaking out against valve’s decision.
