Blu-ray Releases for the Week of 11.9.09

I bet the Pixar movies look amazing on Blu-ray. I never saw Up though. Was it any good? I’m actually getting sick of all these CGI movies coming out myself. So I’m hesitant to see any new CGI movies. Anything for you this week?

Here are the Blu-ray titles for this week. Highlights are: Up (4 Disc Combo Pack with Digital Copy and DVD), Monsters, Inc. (4-Disc Edition), Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut, Godzilla, Heat.

I love the Godzilla movie. The french guy was cool but I hated him in Onimusha 3 for some reason.

I’m going to be renting Up from Netflix. My sister says its good, but I’ll be the judge of that lol (it’s kind of funny, but I enjoy watching children movies sometimes lmao. Especially old ones from years past. Better than watching a movie full of F-Bombs and sex.

Up is fantastic. I cried like a baby through the first half. Pixar knows how to make a film that touches your heart. The story is great. the writing is excellent. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
Then again it’s Pixar. I haven’t seen a Pixar movie that’s been bad.

It’s about time they release The Incredibles on Blu Ray.
And the CGI movies are just going to continue. They are getting easier to make and they make a lot of money. Kids are a big untapped market filmmaking wise.
