Warner Bros. is offering an ‘upgrade’ program where you can send in your DVD and get a Blu-ray in return. At the moment there are 25 eligible titles. It will cost you $4.95 for shipping (both ways) plus the cost of the Blu-ray movie which ranges from $7.95 – $9.95.

So basically you are paying $12.90 – $14.90 for the upgrade. I compared a few random titles on Amazon and they almost even out. Give or take a couple dollars. But most of the time it ended up being cheaper if you upgrade with Warner. Only time it was cheaper on Amazon is if you qualify for free shipping.
