It seems that the wait for PixelJunk Shooter is almost at an end. The game is going to be available next Thursday on the 10th of December on the PSN. Now they haven’t announced a price but when asked if it was going to be $9.99 or $14.99. Dylan Cuthbert the President and Excutive Producer at Q-Games LTD. said it was going to be:
The cheaper of the two price points.

My hopes for this are really high.
2009 wasn’t that great for downloadable titles. The only really great content was Wipeout Fury, Flower, and Noby Noby Boy.

Man this has been a great year for PSN downloads. Its got to the point where I have way to many games to play. Iam still getting this anyways.

Braid and Trine were both major bores IMO.
Braid isn’t any better than other puzzlers like echochrome, Crush, PQ2, Exit, or Mercury Meltdown. For whatever reason, it got runaway levels of hype along with World of Goo.
Trine… that just got over-built on preview coverage and the game wasn’t that good.
PSN also had Xi in ’09 on Home which was pretty fun.

hmm.. i guess i just really like creative side scroller 2d games and both trine and braid had that.. braid was little too short, but trine has some fun exploitative replay value to it. darrin, have you tried comet crash, it’s a steal for a 5 dollar game.

Yes, Comet Crash was pretty good. I beat it and and am on my second play through. The tower defense genre is pretty crowded, but that was one of the better ones. It was more than 5$ when it came out though…
