Max Payne 3 has been delayed and “is now planned for release during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2010”. It was originally due winter 2009 (i.e. now) but was then delayed to the first quarter of fiscal 2010 but now Take Two has announced that it been pushed back even further. As a big fan of the series I am only to happy to wait for this to be fine tuned and released when it is ready instead of being rushed out. In the meantime we can look forward to other Take Two releases such as Red Dead Redemption and BioShock 2.

Atleast they wised up and removed the release from the crowded early 2010/Spring schedule.

Im glad there delaying max payne to be honest. Let the developers touch up the game and tune some things around. This game is going to be huge and me personally i dont want an half-ass max payne game. When its done its done, im just happy there bringin him bac.

The first half of ‘10 is too cluttered as it is. I welcome this decision with open arms. I’m actually a bit overwhelmed, though. If the second half of 2010 is anything compared to the first half, there will be just waaaay too many games I need to get.
