Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like any of the features that I requested are in this update, but it does have these two cool features. It is also rumoured that this patch will fix the problem that some people are having with the system not recognizing controllers.

looks like my rumor post was true lol. The xfer of data between PS3s is a Godsend for people who want to put their older PS3 stuff onto a new Slim model, though (or, of course, multiple PS3s)

I guess the transfer would’ve been cool before I got my slim. But not having it didn’t mean much. Everything still got where it needed to be.
Feature wise this seems like a pretty tame update… but I’m SUPER STOKED for the controller fix! My slim has been giving me trouble with my remote and my controllers for the past few weeks. I thought it was fighting with my white dual shocks or something. Glad to see that’s being fixed, or at least possibly.
