PlayStation Store Global Update 12/10/09

It looks like Tosh wasn’t able to get to it this week, so I’ll step in for ya. The biggest highlight is probably going to be PixelJunk Shooter. I have yet to get it myself, but IGN gave it a 9.1, so it must be pretty good. It would be nice if there was a demo available, though. Other highlights include the free Need for Speed SHIFT pack, which I’ve been playing all evening (it finally added muscle cars, as I mentioned in an earlier post), the exclusive Dante’s Inferno demo and Simon and Garfunkel songs for Rock Band .

Also keep note, if you haven’t updated your firmware to version 3.15, it’s not manadatory, but it is a good idea, because it fixes syncing issues and even lets you play PSP minis games on the PS3. I’ll never know why it wasn’t a mandatory update…
