Well they got the characters look down great! I don’t see Kazuya getting dropped into a volcano though, lol. It’s also a straight to dvd/blu-ray release. It’s directed by Dwight Little (Halloween 4, Marked for Death, Rapid Fire). Will you be picking this up?

I would buy this. It doesn’t look like it had a huge budget but it looks fun.

Was that Sergei getting trashed by Fury? Jin & Christie?? I think I’ll wait till this becomes a Starz premere Saturday night movie.

Shouldn’t they have made this movie more at the height of Tekken’s popularity?

This movie looks like doo-doo cakes. I’ll rent and watch just to say I saw it. Yoshimitsu but no Paul Phoenix? What’s up with that?

I love Tekken, but this movie looks like it’s going to be terrible. It has all the ingredients required for a successful flop:
1. Terrible music
2. Bad acting
3. Weak love story, which has nothing to do with the Tekken legacy
4. Low budgeted to no special effects
Everything Tekken is NOT about…
If they made this a CGI movie, it probably would have been 100 times better. Animation can show the true powers these characters hold. You can do things beautifully in CGI that would look silly in live action.
For example, can you picture characters like: Panda, Devil Kayzua, Gun-Jack, or any of the other “different” characters being in this movie without looking silly?
If it airs on a cable movie channel I’ll give it a look. I thought the industry learned its lesson from Street Fighter.
Street Fighter the Movie Anime >>>>> Street Fighter live action.
Sorry to sound negative here, but turn away from this and RUN!!

I hate people giving shit about this movie. IN WHAT RESPECT IS THE GAME BETTER?
Jon Foo – Wushu master
Cary Tagawa – Needs no introduction. Expert of a martial art, and creator of Chun-Shin
Lateef Crowder – Unbelievable Capoeirista, wait and see..
Anton Kasabov – Remarkable Taekwondo talent and master
Gary Daniels – Kickboxing champion, and it’s weird, he really seems to be the real life Fury
Darrin Henson – 15 years or martials arts under belt, also dance coreographist
Nathan Jones – live Craig Marduk
Ian Anthony Dale – Watch this guy out, he’ll make Kazuya look like a puss
Cyrill Raffaelli – The coreographist.. watch his parkour videos
For others who actually know about this movie and don’t just bash for the heck of it, my msn is [email protected]

You’re working for some competitor of the company that’s getting Tekken out there?
You think they should use more CGI effects? WRONG. This is a martial arts movie.

A martial arts movie. Yes. A good Tekken movie? Nope.
As a Sergei Dragunov fangirl I’ll only watch it to see how Anton Kasabov portrays him. But I can see Namco already screwed him up because the game Sergei uses Russian Combat Sambo not Tae Kwon Do.
And if he utters a word….!
