Short and sweet…your brain size (or 3 specific parts of it) directly influences your ability to learn, adapt and the ability to use hand/eye coordination when playing video games. The larger these 3 parts are, the faster the person learns to overcome certain aspects of gaming.
It seems the major area focused on is found in the “Striatum” which is a collection of distinctive tissues tucked deep inside the cerebral cortex.
While video games are used as the medium to identify the abilities with these larger parts of the brain, it seems that they also affect other abilities as well when it comes to learning.
This may very well be direct evidence that playing videogames in beneficial to at least the exercise and growth of certain parts of the brain.
