Video Replays On PSP At Sports Events

arse psp

This is possibly the coolest idea that I have seen for the PSP so far, the ability to watch replays of the game you’re watching whilst you’re there. Just launched at Arsenal FC in England the Arsenal TV Matchday + service is a subscription service allowing you to watch instant replays and access other information on the match including team lineups, statistics and other information about Arsenal.

How it works is that you pay a fee (in this instance £10) and for the rest of the season you can jump onto the Wi-Fi in the Emirates Stadium on match days and get to enjoy everything about the match. Its a fantastic idea which I hope catches one at other clubs and for different sports as well. It reminds me of the Kangaroo TV service which, are devices you rent at sports events but with this PSP version you would only pay a one off fee. I hope Sony branches out as not everyone is a fan of Arsenal and I think this service could prove popular at more stadiums.

Here’s the full Information;

Available for a one-off fee of £10 for the remainder of the 2009/2010 season, the application will offer supporters action replays from selected camera angles, plus slow-motion options, live match statistics, team sheets and Arsenal player profiles and pre-match video content and Arsenal.com editorial news. Fans will also be able to vote for their man of the match within the Arsenal TV Matchday + user base, access the League table and live scores and results from other fixtures.

    Nice idea. I’m not a fan of Arsenal but I hope they expand to the mighty Man U!
