Blue Toad Murder Files: The Mysteries of Little Riddle, is a six-episode murder mystery / puzzle game, made exclusively for PSN. It is a single player, or up to a four player co-operative game set in the English village of Little Riddle. The main plot is to follow clues to discover a murderer. There are many different and challenging puzzles to help you on your way to discovering the muderer in Little Riddle.
Blue Toad Murder Files: The Mysteries of Little Riddle was created by the developers of the game Buzz! The game will feature six seperate downloadable episodes. The first three are being released on the PSN on March 25th. They will be $7.49 each or $14.99 for all three. The official website says that episode three will be available for free between Feb. 25th and March 25th. I’m assuming it is just for the EU Store as the release date for the US is March 25th. This game’s first two episodes were released in Europe back in December.
The game promises “a thrilling cliff hanger at the end of every episode,” with “over 90 puzzles, Whodunnits and cross-examinations,” through the six episodes. The co-op might be fun, however I have no idea how it would even work in a puzzle game. The game looks entertaining enough for me to pick up at least the first episode. One complaint I have heard is that there is very little re-playabilty in the game. Since it has been out in Europe for a couple months, there are sure to be reviews around the web. Has anyone here on PS3Blog.net played it yet? What are your opinions of the game?
