In addition to continued catalog sales, new downloadable content from Infinity Ward and a new Call of Duty release, we are excited about the opportunity to bring the franchise to new geographies, genres and players.”

Activision reiterated the fact that Treyarch (developers of COD3 and COD:World at War), is developing a new COD game to be released this fall, and that Infinity Ward is creating two downloadable map packs for MW2 to also be released this year.

action/adventure? what, is that CoD in third person? haha. They’ll probably steal MAG and BFBC2 ideas next.

they’re milking this franchise to death. It’s about time they start on a new IP for Pete’s sake.
