Driver was good up until Driver 3 (Driv3r lol). Driver 3 was OK, but not good. If they managed to make the series good, then it would be worth checking out, but given that GTA games have improved leaps and bounds over the Driver series, playing catch-up would be hard (since, more or less, Driver would have to be about a clone to GTA to actually succeed). That, and I dont think a completely integrated world like TDU and TDU2 would work with Driver, since the Driver games essentially had a deeper-than-a-racing-game storyline to them, but I, too, would still like to see Driver make a comeback.

I would like to see MOOR applied to Driver (remember that game). Now that would be a game that would be spectacular online. It's great that developers are thinking beyond the racing track in their car based game design, because lets face it, they are not going to beat Gran Turismo 5 when it comes to sheer graphics candy. Test Driver Unlimited 2 looks like it's not just depending on graphics to sell, but adding some great original game play as well. I think it deserves to succeed.
