Several journalists have been murmuring about some variation of a secret PS3 exclusive for quite a while. Too many this has become a running joke.
From August ’09 psxextreme says:
we are aware of a truly huge PS3 exclusive title that hasn’t been announced or confirmed as of yet
You know about Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, God of War III, MAG, Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time, Gran Turismo 5, Heavy Rain, and The Last Guardian. This title will have a place in that elite group as soon as it’s announced; you can be guaranteed of that. Oh, and if any of you are wondering if there’s a chance the game will go multiplatform: no.
Just this week, psxextreme adds:
For the record, it is not Resistance 3, which we expect to see this Friday on GameTrailers TV.
We have this…oh, let’s call it a feeling, that the game in question will be announced at the Game Developers Conference
The Resistance 3 unveiling has supposedly been denied directly by the devs. So something else tonight and the super secret PS3 exclusive at GDC next week? Don’t hold me to that.
I’m more excited about the barrage of AAA games actually shipping this month and last month, but we haven’t had any juicy rumors or big unveilings in quite a while.
UPDATE: OK, psxextreme was wrong and I was wrong to circulate this false rumor. The updated rumor from official playstation magazine is that this secret sequel will be fully unveiled next month. I believe it, but clearly my track record for this isn’t the best.

I’d love it if Sony was able to convince Bungie to do something. Maybe Marathon. That would work nicely.
They are finished with their MS exclusive deal Aren’t they.
Maybe Epic could be building a new game for them.
I still think they need a platformer. Maybe Sly cooper or Jax and Daxter.

Well what games has Sony made in the past that have been mega hits…. Past i mena PS1 and PS2. Also it couldn’t be any game that has come out in the last 2 years e.g. (uncharted, Infomous, Killzone etc.) This needs to be something that clearly will be released this year and has ben kept Top Seceret. Will it be that game with the purple dragon? (forget the name of it)

Repeating what I posted earlier.
Killzone 3 and Infamous 2 are already rumored to be released late this year.
Since Killzone 3 is no longer in the running. My bet is Infamous 2.
I never picked the first one up. But I just watched a friend play a bit and it looks like a lot of fun. I’ll see if I can find it for 30 dollars somewhere.

GTA unfortunatly has been multi platform for ages (with limited exclusiveness).. so that’s out too

I read “From Software” may have a sequel to Demon Souls in the works, and possibly coming out by the end of the year if it is true.

yo out of all the posts i have visited no one has mentioned “Jak and Daxter” as the secret sequel, it would be awesome if the sequel was either “Jak and Daxter or Kingdom Hearts 3″. since the game that is gonna be announced hasn’t been played since PS1 or PS2
