As I reported here yesterday, SOCOM 4 was announced to be coming as an exclusive for the PS3. It looks like it will be named SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy Seals. In case you missed the GTTV teaser trailer, here it is now.
This looks like it is going to be really good! Even though I have not played any of the other SOCOMs, I will probably be getting this one.

though Im not huge on them, the SOCOM games are good, especially if you go in without a run and gun attitude. To be honest, though, I hadnt played a SOCOM game since SOCOM 2, but it was a high quality title and had a die hard following back then, too. I’d say it’s actually a pretty underrated franchise

I hope it has the option to go 1st person. I have a super hard time going back to 3rd person view after so much time spent with MW2 and BFBC2.
