After they bore (give it a week) of GOW3 they will go pick up some other good ones

out of all the games I have, the three series I go back and replay most often are Metal Gear Solid, God of War and Grand Theft Auto, so becoming bored after a week wont be an issue for me haha

So much good stuff always coming out now, I rarely replay a game unless the game has multiplayer, open world, or alternate endings..

I may have to retrack my previous statement about FFXIII ( PS3) outselling GOW III.

FF is on xbox as well as PS3, so combined.. maybe.. but GOW3 is soo over hyped it’s gonna sell a ton

Is GoW3 really OVER hyped? I don’t think so.

Well I feel it is.. Personal opinon tho I guess. The demo didn’t leave me wanting more really.. 1st 2 I never finshed because they bored ne. Kinda felt like anyone can push buttons super fast and kill everything on the screen, give me more of a challenge or better puzzles. Maybe Im over thinking it lol

To each his own. other people feel that its is over hyped because for them, it is.
In Action/Adventure games some people like sophisticated challenges and trivial puzzles while some just like easy to moderate gameplay but with intense action and good storyline

Yup what Marcus said lol.. dont’t get me wrong, I’ll most likely be buying and playing it, but I’m probably going to wait a bit. Need to play the new Borderlands levels and get to all the endings in Heavy Rain.

the beauty of the God of War franchise was never the challenge (though, it was very challenging fighting bosses and the like on harder difficulties). Instead, it lied in the game’s presentation, story and, especially, the fluidity of the combat controls (and the action, gore and graphics themselves).
Sure, you could go through most of the game just button mashing, but it was more rewarding if you mastered the combos and techniques, which was a challenge in it’s own right. If you got bored by just hitting random buttons, then most of the blame can be laid upon you since you didn’t take the time to master the available move sets haha

Just traded in Heavy rain for FF13. I wanted to make sure I got full value before I let it go. I beat it and wasn’t as impressed as I thought. One good thing about that game is I can remember when people watching me play the game asked me to do specific things in the game almost as if they were playing though me. The scene when you could cut your finger off for example was one of them. My GF wanted me to use the knife while my roommate wanted me to use the saw. Anyway what I am saying is I feel like I made a mistake by sending it on its way. However I am sure it will be worth it when I go pick it up used for 15 bucks in about 3 months.
