That’s right. The Playstation Store gets support from 6 Major motion picture studios. Those studios include 20th Century Fox, Walt Disney Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal Pictures, and Warner Bros. All 6 major studios has signed up to deliver HD movies on the Playstation Network.
The movies available on PSN include: Star Trek, Paranormal Activity, and Zoolander (Paramount); Inglourious Basterds (pictured), Couples Retreat, and Public Enemies (Universal); The Hangover, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, and The Wizard of Oz (Warner Bros.); Up, G-Force, and Earth (Disney); This Is It, 2012, District 9, and Zombieland (Sony); and Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian and Jennifer’s Body (Fox). Fox’s Fantastic Mr. Fox will be available on March 23.
I guess this is Sony’s little way of making up for the clock bug that troubled a lot of PS3 “fat” users.
