Last year we saw the beloved Monkey Island game get a face lift and make its way back to the PC, and for the first time onto the Xbox 360. It has now been confirmed that within the next several weeks Monkey Island SE… Special Edition for those of you aren’t aware will make its way to the PSN.
But that’s not all, it was also confirmed that the PC, Xbox 360, and the PSN are going to get a revamped version of Monkey Island 2 SE this coming Summer. The price wasn’t mentioned but it probably wouldn’t be very different from the $10 tag that we saw when Monkey Island SE was released.

Well, that’s a great surprise. I almost got the SE for PC but in the end the store colapsed and after trying for a while I couldn’t get it. Now I’ll be sure to get them both on PSN.

I am not sure if I will go for the first one since I had this bad boy back on my Sega CD so many many years ago.
I have never tried Monkey Island 2 so that I will have to give a try.

o yes ive been waiting for this to come to the ps3 since thy first came out on xbox i new they would come eventually i remember playing the curse of monkey island with ma big bro when i was like 3 and thn we played these to and im soooo glad theve remade thm for ps3 come on lucasarts( i think thy should make a remake of my personal favorate the curse of monkey island)
