PlayStation Move Hands On

First video shows somebody using the PlayStation Move with Socom 4. Looks like it’s pretty easy to jump into and controls well. I would love to try this out for myself.

The second video shows a little more Socom 4. After that it shows how to calibrate the PlayStation Move. Then a little Sports Champions action.

The controllers are light. Much more akin to the DualShock3 than the Wiimote in heft, and we’re guessing that’s due to Sony’s continued love of rechargeable batteries.

The lightness of the controllers means we might be feeling less of that Wiimote fatigue, always a good thing! There’s an aspect of the controller that feels a little cheap, but at the same time we wouldn’t call it fragile.

I’m really looking forward to this Move controller set, although I don’t think I’d use it for Socom 4. Also, I really hope Zipper implements the old classic view because if this is how it’s gonna look, I may have to skip out on it.

Socom 4 looks awsome. Im on board with PS Move. yes i was the one sayin that there gonna port crappy wii games to ps3 with better graphics. After see the press confrence i was just in aw. I like the look of the Move controller and the sub controllers. Count me in. They say the price is under $100. My two guesses are $99.99 or 79.99.

    LOL at Royalty32, funny funny

A months ago I was gonna get the Wii, but I noticed I would have to spend money on something that will look like absolute crap on my TV. I will give this a try when it comes out.

I think, so far, SOCOM 4 seems to utilize it the best. Work out the bugs, etc, and you got yourself a winner. Ever turning, etc, doesn’t seem to be that big a deal.

but that does bring to mind a question, how do you turn? When you aim with the controller to the side of the screen, do you have to hold down another button along with the analog stick to differentiate turning from strafing?
