Off-Screen Video of Crysis 2 | PS3Blog.net

A few images and details of Crysis 2 were released earlier this month. Now an off-screen video of a demo showing some tech features has been released. Features like real-time lighting, color grading, facial animation, and the destructibility of the environment (which looks beautiful).

When Crysis  was released, it required the most high end graphics specifications and console set-ups in order to play, in short the game featured killer graphics. And now Crytek is trying to achieve the same level of quality on the PS3 and Xbox360 consoles.

From the looks of the off-screen video and the released screenshots we can say that Crysis 2 is on the right path. I’m definitely looking forward to playing this game. Who’s with me?

  1. very good. The image above looks beautiful, very nice game frame. 1 track that Crytek can achieve the same level of quality on the PS3 and Xbox360 consoles.

the deferred lighting on the PC is out of this world. Not saying the console versions will suck, but damn!

  3. My PC can’t even handle Battlefield Bad Company 2 or Just Cause 2 so I am 1 million percent certain I can forget this game.

I will probably upgarde next year, but the have to say that Crysis 2 is looking very delicious.
