Red Dead Redemption: Life in the West Part 2 | PS3Blog.net

Life in the West Part 2 shows that John Marston will be traveling a lot and as he travels many different things are bound to happen. As the commentator says, Life in the west is a fight to survive with all the danger that lurks around every corner. *throws the W hand sign up*

You encounter many different experiences like running into gang hideouts, getting into fights alone or with an army, roadside bandits and a lot more. The video also shows that the things you do and the way you dress impact your reputation and how the people around will react to you.

Everytime Rockstar releases a gameplay video of this game, It makes me want to jump in a hot tub time machine and move forward to the release date.

I want this game like yesterday.

On a side note. What is your oppinion on, if Rockstar came out with a game just like this but about the Samurai, feudal era Japan?

  2. ^^ that would definitely kick shogun ass

  3. I played this at PAX…..meh. If you like GTA and cowboys you will probably be alright with it…but the overall response from people with hands on was that the game is mediocre at best.

This will prolly be the best open world game since GTA SA.

  5. Looks like they have fixed the frame rate. good news indeed.

I can’t believe it would get such a response. Not seen or heard anything that would suggest so. Looking forward to the multiplayer reveal next week.

  6. Nobody was wow’ed by it at PAX. My buddy was highly anticipating this game and now its a rental for him.

Giant Bombcast said they saw the same reaction there as well.

They only had 360 version up for play, but I surely was not impressed. It looks ok, might even be fun, but in the end its a Gamefly rental for me.
