New MLB App For PSN |

Do you love your PS3? Do you also love baseball? You’ll be able to enjoy those two together thanks to a new PS3 app that’s going live on the PlayStation Store today.

The new app, called MLB.TV, lets MLB.TV subscribers watch every regular season game either live or on demand in HD. There are also a few new interactive features, some of which are demoed in the video below.

PS3 owners in the US and Canada can download the app from the ‘Media’ category on the PlayStation Store. Please note that while some features like the calendar schedule are available for free, you need an MLB.TV subscription to fully utilize it. I got to say I like whats sony doing with some new features and I’m also a huge yankee fan. Anybody interested in this? Comments? Concerns?

  • Looks like it adds an “App” to the Life With PlayStation program. Has a similar menu when you change options.

  • That’s incredibly. I hope the app is free (on top of what I’ve paid for

  • Ace

Its all free if you have a subscription to, if your not a member you get some basic things like the schedule for the team.

  • EdEN

Mmm, prices for subscribing to seem a bit high but at least those that are fans of the sport can get their fix pretty much 24/7.

  • I can’t believe people still watch baseball let alone play their video games lol… *shrug* To each his own I guess 😛
