No the update does not fix the problem with the import version of BBC Life on US PS3′s (with or without a 50Hz capable TV). I do not understand why this was said on a few difference blogs now. Gonna have to keep waiting for that June 1 North America release.

Yeah, they basically changed it to mirror Nintendo’s change to their user agreement. I got an email yesterday morning from Sony with all the details of the change to the UA that seemed to highlight the changes.

Yeah, the 3.30 update crept up on my yesterday when I tried to log in. Didn’t really read what was going on and didn’t realize what happened until I saw the “Downloading update” screen. I was just brushing my teeth and saw from the corner of my eye that something had popped up but figured it was a “could not connect” error and hit the button.
