Get a Head Start on 3DDGH Character Creation

[tab:News]SouthPeak Games has launched an online character creation tool for 3D Dot Game Heroes. You can check that out here. It gives you an idea of the character creation within the game, but, unfortunately, you can’t save the design for use later in the game. At least you can work on how to design it early at least. You can, however, save the image/design as a wallpaper or an animated GIF:

To help gamers prepare for all this thrilling and potentially life-changing (seriously, it’s that good) customisation, SouthPeak Games has launched a simple online character designer. It’s just a taste of the in-depth editing system in 3D Dot Game Heroes but gives you the opportunity to let your creative juices flow and you can even save your hero as an animated forum avatar, an image to add a dash of retro to your Facebook or Twitter page and a desktop wallpaper.

Let’s see what you guys can come up with!

It would have been great if a design save could be stored in a USB drive and then transferred into the game because I believe there will be those that end up spending waaaaaaaaay too much time in the editor and try to find a way to import it into the game.

I agree. make it like EA’s face mapping tech where you upload your face through the online portal and then download it from your console. I’m sure they could find a way to have the editor available online and have the design saved to an account that you can bring up in-game, but I guess not.

Unless they patch the game, nothing more can be done at the moment since it has already shipped. Oh well, let’s go edit some pixels!

of course, and hopefully they can get a patch out before the game’s release so you can design them online and upload them from there, but the chances of that happening are rather slim at this point. One can always dream, though lol
