Darrin just let us know about Sony’s E3 Website. The first thing that came to mind when I saw this was this post Eddie did back on September 8th, 2009. Here is the Gigapan technology in action:
Doesn’t this look very similar to Sony’s E3 Website? If this feature was coming to the PS3, how would you like to see it used? Maybe a PlayStation Store using this technology? Or maybe a alternative way to browse content on your hard drive? Let’s hear your thoughts.

Lame. I want “Party Chat” which PC, 360 users had for ever, music to be played during gameplay, better “Dashboard” – XMB, and better game profiles.

It’s pretty cool.
But to me it also feels like tech for the sake of tech.
It’s one more of these “Hey we invented something, lets find something to do with it”
