Rumor has it that a new firmware for the PS3 will be coming soon.
System Software version 3.40 had reportedly been released to developers since late last week. The Sixth Axis source further claims that it’s just gonna be a few short weeks between testing and public release.
Of course, Sony has got no word regarding this, but we’ll be sure to break it to you as soon as we hear something.
Update: According to The Sixth Axis “we’ve been told that the update has vanished.”

Lets hope they start including some of the good suggestions from the Playstation Blog Share site…I’m hoping for Skype to be included sometime soon.

not much more I want…cross game invites is about it. I’m happy as is and will await the premium psn info.
