Well, I hope they can’t miss it this time, since this video is pretty much like the old Sonic games that we used to play in Genesis…

I was a huge Sonic fan in the Sega Genesis days. The look is dead on to the original, I’ll keep an eye on this one for sure.

If there gonna make sonic like the classic sonic then git rid of the 3D graphics. IMO thats the only thing wrong wit it. Go back to 2D with HD. If u wanna make sonic classic again dont mess up the formula that made it classic.

I think that it’s the direction it should have gone since it gives the game more depth while keeping the classic platforming. It’s better than the sprites and simulated depth of the old games IMO

So Jay r u sayin they should keep the 3D look. (No hostility went into that sentence). They tried 3D sonic and they all failed big time dnt u think 3D isnt workin for them.

the 3D look they’re using here, yes, but not 3D movement, since it’s the 3D gameplay that killed Sonic, not the visual appearance.

Maybe but i still think that they should keep it 2D and just add HD. I mean whats the real difference. Just one is flat and the other bulgy. Sega really needs to get Sonic bac to where he was and i just think that if u give us the classic sonic that everybody loves then how could it go wrong.

Delayed so they can get the iPod port ready for a launch on all platforms at the same time…
