To give you a taste, I included the above two pictures to show the difference in detail when comparing the PS2 version of the Sly Cooper franchise to the PS3 version. It is definitely a lot crisper and looks really good. Now we just need a bunch of other PS2 compilations and we’ll be good
. Team ICO collection would rock, and would definitely benefit from updated resolution and textures. You can actually check out a few more comparison shots here. I never played those games, so maybe this will be one for me to pick up some time in the future.

Sounds pretty impressive. I hope they start to remaster more PS2 games and sell them in PS Store. Hey, maybe a free PS2 remaster for PS+ users?

This is one of the few games I got my wife to play on the PS2. Wonder if she’d like to replay it … she never finished it.

I only played the demo I think of the first one (or may have rented it and only played the first part of it, can’t remember) and regret that I didn’t pick it up. I’ll definitely get them this time around.
3 Platinum trophies as well…nice!

lol, did you even bother comparing the shots? Look at Sly himself in both pics. then look at the windows and textures in the background. Despite having the same art style and everything, the details in the resolution are rather huge.

Yes you could easily tell the differences between them. I was a sly addict, I had every single Sly Cooper and boy did I really enjoy them. I’m kinda disappointed that it took sony this long to start remaking ps2 titles. But hey glad things are getting better and better. I also was a huge Jak fan, these games really sold the console in my perspective.
@Demerson I also would love to see more PS2 games in the psn store. Man imagine Kingdom of hearts …I would be set for life. And yea why not throw Ps+ users a bone.

3 platinums and 3 games, plus Move mini games. My guess is that it will be either $49.99 or $59.99 since it’s one more game than the GoW collection AND it will have extra Move minigames.

I’m extremely excited for this one. It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to play me some Sly Cooper, so to have not one but all of them remastered on the PS3 is definitely going to gaurantee them at least one sale.
