Hulu+ coming to PSN+ members today! |

Starting today PSN+ members will be able to get a taste of Hulu+. For those of you who have been living under a rock and aren’t aware of what Hulu+ is, it’s a new subscription service offering full current runs of TV programs ranging from ABC, FOX, and NBC. The great thing about this is that this is going to be adding even more premium video content to the more than 23k movies and TV Episodes that are already on the PlayStation Store.

I think that’s an awesome idea since it will fill the gap for the content that is missing. The only drawback that some will have with this is that it will be an additional $9.99 per month charge from Hulu. Now even though you get charged $9.99 a month I think it’s a great feature. You don’t have to get it if you don’t want to but at least you have a choice with either getting Hulu+ or Netflix. The key here is content, maybe not be free but the choice is there.

So if you are interested what you need to do is download the free Hulu+ application from the PlayStation Store and within it, request an exclusive preview. If you are accepted, you will gain access to the service for $9.99 per month. Later on this year the service will be opened opened up to every child of the PS3 to enjoy.

its just a preview version of it, though. When the full Hulu+ launch happens, it’ll be open to non-PS+ users as well.

  • Jay you trying to tell me I missed something? I did state in the beginning that it’s just a taste of Hulu+ and at the end every PS3 child will get to enjoy Hulu+ once it’s released.

hmm, must have glanced through it too fast haha. Damn my comprehension skills 😛

  • Slightly on topic with the photo in the post. My cousin was a injured man in Grey’s Anatomy once as an extra, lol.

  • @Jay no problem sir.
@Tosh that’s awesome, even as an extra.

what is hulu I have direct tv so do hulo get movies like netflix or is it just tv shows

  • For the most part they are TV Shows but they do have several movies I believe.

  • I think this is a really big waste of money. Just getting cable costs an arm and a leg. Why would you pay money for something like this if you already have cable TV? Unless you have plenty of money to blow.

  • Now if I didn’t have cable it would be a great deal.

  • Not sure if it’s a waste of money but it really does depend on how you want to spend your money. If I wasn’t paying for DirecTV this would have been an awesome deal as long as they threw in Discovery Channel or something.
